Colour palette
The Mill Street Youth Center is an ongoing project led by the NBYC in New Braunfels, Texas. This project is re-introducing a historic school building to the community of New Braunfels as a hub for youth to gather, socialize, and learn critical skills to help them build their futures.
My part in this incredible project was to make their logo and subsequently, their colour palette which will represent the youth center for years to come.
Logo Process
I knew that the Mill Street Youth Center would greatly impact the city of New Braunfels, so when creating the logo, I explored many avenues to ensure they got a result that lived up to the project.
Final Logo + Guidelines
The final logo combines a strong stencil-like wordmark and a symbol representing the two rivers which flow through New Braunfels. As a brushstroke, it also symbolizes the creativity and boldness of youth.
